Jim Mann founded UNDO in 2022. It removes carbon dioxide by enhanced rock weathering, spreading crushed silicate rock on farmland, and its NEWTON data platform tracks every step so customers can see their impact down to a single tonne.
Microsoft renewed its contract with UNDO in 2024, under which it will spread 60,000 tonnes of rock across the UK and Canada, and is funding its measurement trials. UNDO was a founding signatory of the Reykjavik Protocol in 2023.
