Nick Telson and Andrew Webster, who built DesignMyNight and sold it in 2017, and Rory Sadler, a former sales lead at Hotjar, came up with trumpet over coffee in 2020 and founded it in 2021. trumpet's Pods are shared sales workspaces where buyer and seller work through a deal on a personalised microsite.

trumpet raised £4.9m in seed funding, and its clients include Oyster, PayFit, Employment Hero and Crossbeam.
