Layla Sargent grew up with a seamstress grandmother who fixed her clothes, and after moving from Birmingham to London found repairs hard to arrange. She founded The Seam in 2020 to match people with nearby tailors, cobblers and menders.
The Seam has a UK-wide partnership with Adidas, letting loyalty members pay for repairs with points.
