About
Nikki Gibson founded SWURF in Edinburgh in 2020, during the pandemic, when people working from home were lonely and hospitality venues were empty. SWURF lets remote workers find and book workspaces in hotels, cafés and community hubs, earning the venues money from unused space, and offers its own bookable SWURF Pods.
SWURF Pods are installed at Edinburgh Airport and YOTEL Edinburgh, and partners include Kew Green Hotels, IHG and Hilton.
Number 94 on the Startups 100 Index 2026.
