Vicky Fuller and Charlene Hurlock founded Swoperz in 2021 after testing the idea with garden fashion shows in lockdown. Children aged six to 16 swap quality preloved clothes from their own accounts, with adults in control, for a monthly subscription.

Swoperz raised £250,000 in March 2024, won £25,000 in eBay's Sustainable Fashion Fund competition, and partners with Girlguiding Anglia and Essex County Council.
