Tom Barltrop and Nick Spiller founded SuperFi in 2021, after a friend was turned away by a debt charity for not owing enough. The free app puts household bills in one calendar with reminders, finds unclaimed benefits and cheaper tariffs, and rewards on-time payments with cashback from partners such as Amazon and Argos.

SuperFi is backed by the Fair by Design Fund and has partnered with the Greater London Authority and the British Gas Energy Trust. More than 70% of its users open the app more than once a week.
