About
Sam Moss and Charlie Gilpin founded STOCKED in 2020. It sells frozen, portioned meals in blocks that can be mixed, matched and reheated in minutes, ordered online for delivery, as an alternative to ready meals and meal kits with less food waste and plastic. The idea came from Moss's mum, who froze his baby food in ice cube trays.
On Dragons' Den the pair won a £50,000 investment from Steven Bartlett. In 2025 STOCKED became the second best-selling frozen ready-meal brand on Ocado, sold its millionth meal block and raised $1.3m in seed funding from Active Partners.
