Felix Atkin founded Sharesy in 2020, starting with a plan to help schools in Barnet earn their own income. Sharesy lets schools, places of worship and community centres rent out their spaces, setting prices and availability, while bookers see live availability and book instantly.
Sharesy went live in February 2022, and more than 10,000 sessions were booked through it in 2023. It says venues earn £18,000 a year on average.
