Neil Latter and Gregory Butler founded Purple Transform in 2021. Its AI watches video, sensor and other feeds to detect risks, such as a trespasser on railway tracks or a vulnerable patient leaving their room, and alerts the right people.
Purple Transform raised £4.5m in an investment led by Mercia Ventures through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund II. It works with Govia Thameslink Railway and Lancaster University, and its suicide-prevention project is backed by Innovate UK.
