Omnea: AI-first procurement platform
Ben Freeman and Ben Allen founded Omnea in 2022. Omnea is an AI-first procurement platform that streamlines and automates how organisations buy goods and services, which Startups.co.uk sums up as “your AI concierge for every supplier decision”.
Freeman came up with the idea while working on a leading AI security platform, where he kept running into the same procurement blocker. He went on to interview 300 procurement leaders before building the product.
Omnea raised a $20m Series A led by Accel, then a $50m Series B led by Insight Partners and Khosla Ventures at the end of 2025. Since 2024 it has grown its revenue five times and tripled its headcount. Customers include Spotify, Monzo and The Adecco Group, and it says it has saved them well over 100,000 hours of manual work.
Number 1 on the Startups 100 Index 2026.
