NavLive: map a building just by walking through it

  • Founded 2022
  • £3.3m seed
  • Oxford spin-out

About

Chris Davison and Dr David Wisth spun NavLive out of the Oxford Robotics Institute in 2022. Its device combines AI, LiDAR and high-resolution imagery to capture a building's geometry as someone walks through it, handheld or on a robot, processing the data on the device, so surveys that took a day or more can take 15 to 30 minutes.

NavLive closed a £3.3m seed round led by Oxford Science Enterprises. Clients include architects AE Works and office outfitter BW.

Number 50 on the Startups 100 Index 2026.
