About
Product design graduates Joanna Power and Paramveer Bhachu founded Lylo in 2021, after seeing how much water ran down university showers. Lylo collects shower water in a mat in the shower tray, filters it to drinking standard and stores it in a drum that doubles as a washing machine.
Lylo won an Innovate UK grant, competed in Red Bull Basement, ran a living lab with Anglia Ruskin University, and is in talks with major UK water companies.
Number 76 on the Startups 100 Index 2026.
