Brothers Chris and Will Donnelly founded Lottie in 2021 after struggling to find the right care for their nan. Lottie is an online marketplace where families find vetted care homes, retirement living and at-home care and compare fees; it also sells software and employee benefits to care providers and employers, and market data through Care IQ.

Lottie says it helps more than a million people a month look for care and works with 3,000 providers across the UK. It has raised £25m in total, including a £16.3m Series A in 2023, and it topped the Startups 100 Index in 2025 after placing eighth in 2023 and second in 2024.
