Daisy Harvey founded Loom in 2022, leaving fast fashion after seeing schoolchildren protest about climate change. In the Loom app, people send unwanted clothes to one of more than 100 vetted designers, who remake them into new pieces.

Harvey built the first version without code, then found investors. Loom won an Innovate UK Creative Catalyst grant and the H&M Foundation Global Change Award, worth €200k, and made an upcycled collection with Oxfam.
