Kanjo: helping families and clinicians understand ADHD in children

  • Founded 2021
  • Supported by NHS DigitalHealth.London
  • Backed by Entrepreneur First

About

Sophia Parvizi Wayne, who was diagnosed with ADHD at 24 and spent more than a decade in mental health policy and education, founded Kanjo in 2021, joined by product leader Deepthi Uppala. Kanjo uses AI to help parents and clinicians understand children's mental health, focusing on ADHD; it does not diagnose, but digitises assessment so families fit into existing clinical pathways.

Kanjo nearly closed in 2023 but went on to win its first clients and the support of NHS DigitalHealth.London. Investors include KQ Labs at the Francis Crick Institute, Entrepreneur First and Access Industries.

Number 83 on the Startups 100 Index 2026.
