Alessandro Di Trapani and Hugh Petit founded Grub Club in 2020 to cut the environmental impact of pets by replacing meat with insect protein. Developed with vets and nutritionists, its dog food is hypoallergenic, easy to digest and gut-friendly.

Grub Club is sold in 460 Pets at Home stores and by Abel & Cole, Planet Organic and Daylesford Organic. It won the Sky Zero Footprint Fund Grand Prix, and its revenue doubled from 2023 to 2024.
