Gaia: IVF you only pay for if it works
- Founded 2019
- $20m Series A
- 100 babies born
About
Nader AlSalim founded Gaia in 2019 after he and his wife spent $50,000 on years of IVF before their son was born. Members pay an upfront protection fee and Gaia pays the clinic for up to three cycles; if treatment succeeds they repay over eight years, and if it fails they pay nothing. Members also get six counselling sessions.
Gaia has helped 100 babies be born, with another 100 on the way, and it launched in the US in 2024 after a $20m Series A.
Number 5 on the Startups 100 Index 2025.
