Dr Franck Courbon founded Ethicronics in 2022 from research at the University of Cambridge. It inspects electronics at the nanometre scale to show what is really inside them, so governments and defence organisations can detect hidden implants, counterfeits and tampering.
Ethicronics has made its first hardware assurance sale, closed its first investment and is running prototypes and pilot projects with industry partners.
Number 55 on the Startups 100 Index 2026.
