Ctrl Alt: tokenising real-world assets for institutions

About
Matthew Ong founded Ctrl Alt in 2020 after seeing, at an investment bank, investors locked out of assets by minimum sizes and complex rules. It began as a free app that tokenised the first house in the UK, then became a business platform that lets institutions invest in, manage and trade tokenised real-world assets.
Ctrl Alt has raised £2.2m from angels and venture capital. In May 2025 it launched the Dubai Land Department's Real Estate Tokenisation Project, and the first tokenised property sold out in under 24 hours.
Number 45 on the Startups 100 Index 2026.
