Alexander Lempka founded Connect Earth in 2021 after seeing, while working in sustainability, that companies wanted to act on climate but lacked usable carbon data. Its platform and API turn bank transaction data into estimated carbon emissions, and it is built into banking and fintech apps to give customers personal action plans.
Connect Earth has partnerships with KBC Bank, Raiffeisenbank and Tide, and it aims to become the 'Plaid of sustainability'.
