About
Emre Baran, Charith Ellawala and Alex Olivier founded Cerbos in London in 2021 after years of rebuilding user permissions from scratch on every project. Cerbos is an authorisation system that makes it simple to control who can do what in an application, and it says it can be integrated in less than a day.
Cerbos partners with Microsoft, Google Cloud and AWS, and its commercial product, Cerbos Hub, moved out of beta into general availability in 2025.
Number 30 on the Startups 100 Index 2025.
