Brothers Matthew, Jonathan and Nicholas Addai founded Cashblack in 2020 to help close the racial wealth gap. Shoppers earn cashback when they buy from Black-owned businesses, online through its AI browser extension and in store through open banking.

Partners include Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat, and its in-store product launched with Camden Council and Camden Market. Cashblack plans to expand to the US and to African and Caribbean markets.
