Keen cyclists Jake Fieldsend, Ryan Elson and Sam Elson founded Bikebook in Brighton in 2020. It began as a free directory and booking site for bike repairs, then added Workshop by Bikebook, software that lets bike shops manage bookings, customers, quotes and invoices.

Partners include the Association of Cycle Traders, the National Bicycle Dealers Association and triathlete Alistair Brownlee. Bikebook raised angel investment and then £205k, reached break-even in 2025 and now operates across three continents.

Number 99 on the Startups 100 Index 2026.
