Hayden Wood founded Beams in 2022 after two renovations of his own left him frustrated by how opaque and fragmented the process was. Beams is an end-to-end renovation platform that uses only vetted builders, and its pricing engine compares each job with thousands of past renovations so quotes are realistic and locked in up front.
Beams raised a $9m Series A led by ETF Partners in 2025 and has renovated homes for more than 200 Londoners. It aims to become the go-to renovation platform across the UK and Europe.
