Louise Thomas, Will Hicks, Sacha Manson-Smith and Dan Harris founded Air Aware Labs in London in 2024, after measuring air pollution outside a primary school and finding that the numbers alone did not lead to action. Its AirTrack app shows people their personal exposure to air pollution and how to protect their health, and the company also works with businesses.
Air Aware Labs raised an oversubscribed pre-seed round, and AirTrack has 2,200 users. Partners include the World Economic Forum's Clean Air Alliance, Global Sustainable Sport and Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.
